Survey The People
I recently took a job with a company that does surveys over the phone. We call people and ask them if they care to take a short survey--sometimes they are political sometimes they are public opinion and sometimes they have been regarding an issue in the news--maybe even a specific company and their reputation. Anyway---the reason I wanted to talk about this to the Zeitgeist activists is I believe that WE can do surveys with people over the phone and successfully get them to think and possibly to investigate the Zeitgeist Movement, so to educate some additional folks about the possibility of a RBE.
During my employment at this company I have found out that survey takers do not need to legally view or pay attention to "THE NO CALL LIST" because they are not selling anything & it only applies to people that are selling stuff. By doing these surveys I have seen how engaged people are willing to get on the phone with a complete stranger--because it's a survey & people really do like to share their opinions.
I have formulated a few questions for my survey but I would love to have some help in thinking this through and also of course in making phone calls eventually.
Anyone out there interested in having a discussion about the formulation of an informative & provocative survey to introduce the public to The Zeitgeist Movement and or a RBE?
Here are a few questions I have thought of so far.
Have you ever heard of the term "Technological Unemployment"?
(then give them the definition & some facts & have a discussion about it)
Do you believe it is currently possible to provide food, water, shelter & basic health care to everyone on the planet?
(again have some statistics, facts & references available & have a discussion if possible)
Thinking about maybe something like ---Are we currently using our TREES in a sustainable way? How about our oceans/fishing? What happens in the future if we are NOT using our resources in a sustainable way?
I have a friend who is working on possibly a website where people can go & take the survey on their own--and as I make calls I can fill out a survey for the person who's answering and possibly we could have the "results" of all the people who have taken the survey---the survey could be translated in other languages---
What do you guys think? Anyone out there want to contribute some questions or do some research to help me put it together? THANKS
