5th Annual Zeitgeist Day 2013
Realizing Human Progress & Sustainability

With hundreds of events happening all over the world the weekend of March 16th & 17th, this year's Main Event will take place in Los Angeles, CA at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre. This daylong event showcases current understandings in the areas of Human Values, Monetary Economics, Applied Science, Technological Unemployment and Environmental Sustainability.

URUGUAY: Jornada artística Zeitgeist 2012

On Saturday August 4th, the second edition of the Zeitgeist Media Festival was held at the Carlos Martinez Moreno Cultural Center in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Those of us working for social change, although we often have similar goals, tend to forget that there are many people out there who also criticize the current system and propose new ways of living and thinking. Artists, for instance, vividly capture the injustice and inequality of the system we live in, and are able to criticize it in a more creative and provocative way than most can.

Beats for change

After a really long night working at the hospital I headed towards home, slept a couple of hours and caught everything I needed for the event we had been preparing for in the last weeks... I checked the videos for the last time and drove to 'Teatro México' which is the best acoustically designed stage in the city, one of the most representatives venues in the Town and certainly a very beautiful place to visit, even if you do it virtually.

London & Cardiff Z-Day 2012 Review

I went to London looking forward to seeing how strong an event the London Z-Day would be in comparison to last year (because last year's was the main global event and so obviously was likely to have a strong showing). I wasn't disappointed.

Z-Day is an annual awareness-raising day the Zeitgeist Movement has to get people together through talks/lectures and discussions about the goal of a resource-based economy and the way forward to a healthy society.

On Friday 2, March 2012 we started the talks and conferences under the 'Zeitgeist Townhall Meetings' format. They will be in the same place 'Polo Norte, Cultural Center', the first Friday of every month.

The two day event started with our attendance to the Davie Day Festival on Saturday September 10th. This was our 3rd year attending this massive event!

TZMNZ introducing a RBE to Occupy Wellington

On October 24, 2011, Occupy Wellington' held an event for anyone or any organization to come along and express their issues with today's society along with their proposed solutions to it.

Local TZMNZ members attended to take the opportunity to march along side with those sharing common problems, mostly of those against monetary corruption.

Three members, Gordon Dykes, Matthew Leathers, Sam McPherson, and myself occupied a tent to introduce and video tape the concept of a Resource Based Economy to those who attended the event.

TZM Spain Response to "October 15th - United for Global Change"

The Zeitgeist Movement in Spain wishes to express its fraternity with those whom on October 15th have united for global change.

Something is wrong with a world where 20% of the population owns 80% of the wealth, and 34,000 children die every day due to poverty and preventable, or easily treatable, diseases. In a world where abundance, respect, and justice are possible, allowing scarcity, violence and injustice is a crime against humanity.

Kansas City Chapter Meeting Information

The Kansas City Chapter meets weekly at Westport Coffee House, located at 4010 Pennsylvania Ave, Kansas City, Missouri on Sundays From 1 to 2:30pm. We reserve the meeting room, located in the back of the cafe. Upcoming events and meeting topics are posted regularly at the 'Zeitgeist Movement Kansas City' group on Facebook.
