The love story - A staple of our history and culture. As much as modern economic theory and the dubious claims about our supposed “Human Nature” would have us believe that all humans are merely selfish organisms that would rather sacrifice each other than save each other for the sake of mere convenience, the archetypal love story prolific in our artwork challenges all - and reminds us of our deeply empathic and social nature – a clear characteristic of our evolutionary psychology and perhaps even the hidden saving grace of our evolutionary fitness as a species.

The Free World Charter How are we going to resolve the global debt crisis and restore economic stability and growth? It seems like everyone has an opinion on this question, but so far, no-one has been able to offer a credible, universally-accepted solution to put our financial 'humpty-dumpty' back together again. We have the world's best minds working on the problem, yet the only solution they have come up with so far is to just print more money - and you don't need a degree in economics to know how unsustainable or even perilous an idea that is.

Recently, a viral phenomenon flared up as a result of a video campaign entitled ‘Kony 2012′, which encourages the viewer to become passionate about chasing down a man named Joseph Kony, who is apparently involved in gang warfare, rape, severe child abuse, slavery, murder and the like in Uganda and it’s neighboring countries. This is obviously extremely inhumane and abhorrent behavior to say the least.

It is more than obvious the failure of the economic system which cannot meet the needs of the general population. Nevertheless, we see that often we focus our attention and let loose our anger on individuals, certain behaviors or institutions as the main cause of the problems we face. We talk about corrupt political entities, corporate greed, evil banks etc.

We will have to slowly start questioning whether these in fact constitute the true root causes and are not merely symptoms of a backward and obsolete socioeconomic system.

Internet is the most powerful means of communication that human beings have created, and one of those that has had more social impact. It is an instrument capable of uniting the world's societies and providing access to knowledge.

Sharing art and knowledge is a powerful means of cultural evolution. It is in our nature to grow by sharing in an appropriate environment.

On Sept 17th 2011, a grassroots expression of contempt was launched in the heart of the world's financial center in lower Manhattan of New York City, also commonly known to the world as the institution of "Wall Street". As of Sept 26th, there have been over 80 arrests and many recorded instances of what appears to be violence and abuse coming from the police and security forces there. However, the protesters remain vigilant in what could very well be a landmark event that will resonate for some time to come.
