Is There Such Thing as a "Utopia?" What is After Instant Creation?

If you want to have a sandwich for lunch, you must first think of the sandwich before you manifest it in your reality. This is true for everything you want to have, even though not everything we desire comes to fruition. We must create everything in our little thought realm before bringing it forth into existence.
Today as technology grows, the process of manifesting our realities are accelerating. If you want to create a movie, all you need is a camera and some video editing software. Many years ago, it was much more difficult to create such a piece of media. Now everyone can do it.
Imagine this: You have a desire for a piece of furniture, one that is comfortable and strong. Suddenly, you see the thing materialize right before you. Now imagine anything you want created right in front of you. Sounds like science fiction, but the reality is drawing closer.
One example of this is 3-D printing. I took a vocational course for high school and I had the chance to print a physical object. RepRap is the first I have found to implement this technology for personal use. There are countless examples of how this printing technology can be put to use.
What will come out of the next 20 or 50 years? Will we soon be able to just think of something and it will appear right in front of us, removing the big printing box all together? Will we be able to fly with just thinking about clouds? I am a person who never leaves out possibilities.
The so-called “New Age” concepts of reality bring forth the idea that we will all ascend into Godhood, or “Christ Consciousness.” Some make the claim that our souls will be ascending to a higher dimension where we can create our realities with an instant thought in these different frequencies of reality. I'm naturally a skeptic, but not an outright denialist about what these people offer. I actually agree with much of what they advocate. If there are levels of sound and light that we cannot see naturally, and we need instruments to measure them, then wouldn't that be the same with scent, taste, and even touch?
With the concept of Heaven and Hell, if we reach the point of instant creation the religious teachings may have some merit when it comes to this. Not in the sense, however, that you will be judged by a higher being. If you lived a good life and developed love and compassion as a trait, then you will instantly create your own reality based on that. If you were abused as a child, and murdered five people in your lifetime, you will create a more disturbed reality for yourself. Heaven is the reality you create, and so is Hell.
If you think these “New Age” people are insane or even if you agree with them, this argument remains valid and should be brought up for discussion, especially with the activist and freethinking communities. Eventually, we will reach the point of instant creation, be it some mystical force that turns us all into gods, or evolving technology to make our species much more advanced. Will this be considered a “Utopia?” Because after creating things literally seconds after merely thinking about them, what would be next? If humanity reaches a point where it can eliminate the need for consuming anything for nutrition, what would be next? If we remove ourselves from the life-death cycle, what comes after that? We will reach a point someday where we can instantly manifest our own realities, from physical objects to even traveling places you could have only dreamed of. As our understanding of the world around us becomes greater and greater, we will soon be able to completely free ourselves of the bindings of the world we understand.
