Another Avenue for Raising awareness

All of us here love to write at great length about the RBE and the vast spectrum of issues surrounding what we should be doing to help get us there faster. But when it comes to convincing the wider public, we have a common problem: we can easily leave people behind or alienate them with our seemingly radical ideals that challenge the boundaries of the paradigm box to which they cling as a comfort zone.

In our world today, Love is a word that is used more commonly than any other. It is thought of to the point of obsession by nearly all mankind, yet how many people truly understand what love is? When I look around the world I see some acts done with love, but my overwhelming sense is that most acts are done out of insecurity, fear and selfishness. How can it be that as a society we talk of nothing but love yet still fail to act in a loving way to one another? We know deep down to our core that love exists and that we have experienced it.

Internet es el medio de comunicación más poderoso que ha creado el ser humano, y uno de los que mayor impacto social han producido. Es una herramienta capaz de unir las sociedades del mundo y posibilitar el acceso al conocimiento.

Compartir el arte y el conocimiento es un poderoso medio de evolución cultural. Está en nuestra naturaleza crecer compartiendo en el entorno apropiado.

The Ghost in the Machine

The Ghost in the Machine phrase was invented by philosopher Gilbert Ryle as a way to describe René Descartes' mind-body dualism. In his book The Concept of Mind Ryle ridiculed the belief that the psyche somehow functions independent of the physical body -according to Decartes and all dualists thereafter, the mind is not subject to mechanical laws, it is not even in space, hence the immaterial soul governing the mechanistic body, the Ghost in the Machine.

Internet is the most powerful means of communication that human beings have created, and one of those that has had more social impact. It is an instrument capable of uniting the world's societies and providing access to knowledge.

Sharing art and knowledge is a powerful means of cultural evolution. It is in our nature to grow by sharing in an appropriate environment.

Shift the Paradigm, Election 2012

Ok, (sorry about the language) but, fuck it! I’m going to propose something very major. At a time like this, there really isn’t much to lose. In a radio address not long ago, PJ was doing some Q & A and one of the questions was would he ever run for president? He said he would not, but that he would support someone running on the RBE platform (and I realize Scott Keller is already trying something similar). He said essentially, that he would be curious to see how far it would, what kind of reaction it would get. Well this is what I want to do – Basically run for office.
