Technological Advancements Create Revolutions

Occupying World Psychosis
In my refresher studies regarding the roots of property rights, I've rediscovered the origin of religion, which is "the worship of the dead." All cultures have developed special rituals and celebratory events over time that surround life (birth), (birthdays), marriage or mergers and death (death). It makes sense only because most of us create close connections with people, places or things and experience a sense of loss when that relationship looks to be diminishing or is about to die.

Imagine: The Case for the Islamic Culture

Imagine: The Case for the Islamic Culture

I write this because I feel it's important, after the recent events being disclosed about the U.S. military continuing to defile the people of the Islamic world, most notably the burning of the Koran by U.S. soldiers.

Moving Hemp Forward (or so you've watched another movie...)

Moving Hemp Forward (or so you've watched another movie...)

Hemp. Hemp hemp. Hempitty hempty hemp hemp hemp. HEEEEEEEEEMMMP!!!!!HEMP!!! Hemp.... So I watched a movie online the other day from like 1994 titled "The Hemp Revolution" and when it was over I actually threw up in my mouth a little bit (okay that's a lie )... Ironically, I put this movie on to act as ambient noise while I sat in a chair and recycled old mail which I had never even opened.... This movie is a real think piece.

Automation Will Change the World Sooner Than You Think

Automation Will Change the World Sooner Than You Think

The Lights in the Tunnel” by Martin Ford explores the implications of the increasing automation of labor. It begins by visualizing the world economy, and how it will change as automation increasingly eliminates labor. Many commonly held beliefs are dispelled throughout the book with convincing logic and some unquestionable evidence. This is not something we can afford to ignore. Even without the current rapid advances in technology or full artificial general intelligence, automation is going to have some significant effects on society, and it is going to happen sooner than you think.

The Abstraction

The Abstraction

Money is nothing more than a term which represents an abstract form of exchange of labour for purchasing power. This article will not investigate interest, loans, debt or the creation of money.
For in reality money could be gold, silver, match sticks or pine nuts. Here we will concentrate on the direct result of defining a value to labour to use in exchange for purchasing power.

While it may be offered that the abstraction (money) simply allows for delayed trade to take place, such as;
Human x has some chocolate.
